The Microgeneration Certification Scheme Made Easy
Monday 15th of March 2010
This one day course aims to assist installers with the MCS Certification process and will help delegates implement an MCS-QMS in their own business. Delegates will be supplied with their own Company MCS Quality Manual and the day will cover the 19 steps required within MCS001. Although MCS Made Easy does not guarantee passing an MCS accreditation process, it should very significantly reduce the time you require to obtain MCS and also minimise the number of non-conformances your company receives from your Certification Body. In this way, the course should act as very significant value for money. We also hope that by working to MCS quality procedures, your company further raises its own quality systems and so gains a competitive advantage.

Offshore Wind & Transmission Europe
Tuesday 30th of March 2010
Offshore wind projects are at a stage of mass development in Europe with 1.5GW of offshore wind projects already operating and a further 100GW at the planning and development stages. The key challenges now are to create a policy framework that supports the development of offshore wind and to develop a successful approach for the operation of a transnational grid; ensuring international electricity trading becomes a reality and contributes towards our low carbon future. The 2nd annual Offshore Wind and Transmission congress will examine the key aspects of offshore wind development, drawing on case study experiences from operational farms and providing first class networking opportunities with the whole offshore value chain.
